Book Opening, Book Four - Geek Theater Installment One

As I'm sure you're aware - I'm woefully behind for the book opening of book four. Shame on me. I'm sorry. So without further ado, I'm giving you today:

Book Geeks in Nature

Don't forget to leave me a comment and put your name in for the next drawing. I'll announce the winner on Wednesday! Do it!

OK, it's on hold for me at the library. (They can't tell me when my number is up, so cross fingers!)

Amazon reviews are good. I'm intrigued!

i'm still partway through Gang Leader, and now another excuse to go to the book store. Whoo Hoo!

Hmm .. Werewolves in free verse. That's intriguing. It's in at the library, too. :-0

De, I'm really hoping you get that one soon. I am really intrigued too.

Meno, I love being your catalyst.

Gordo, woo hoo! Go get it! Officially we start reading in a week, but get started! When I heard Toby Barlow wrote this entire novel in verse I was of course, enthralled. Hopefully, he did it well.

I'm skipping Gang Leader (busy days lately) but am all over this like white on rice.

Montmorency Falls?

Are you really on book five already? Yikes. I'm way behind.

I love how excited you got about this Sharp Teeth book. Well done.

Clowncar, hurrah! I'm glad you'll be with us on this one.

Egan, actually that is Chute de la Chaudiere. Montmorency Falls was in the running, but this one is closer to home. Gorgeous aren't they? I hope you join in for this one, it would be so cool! It's a novel written totally in free verse!!!! I could not help but be excited. Oh yeah! and it's about werewolves!!!!
(see I'm still excited)

Chaudiere? Sacré bleu! Montmorency isn't so close to where you live, but still isn't too far away. As if I live there.

Maybe I can join in. I need motivation reading these days.

you know, i would REALLY like to figure out why I can't get this feed to work!!!

You are a cutie pie in that video.

You get to stand in front of waterfalls, while I hike to cascading ditches. Not fair.

Maggie said...

Egan, yeah like bucket. Apparently from the air the river looks like a big bucket. We'd love for you to join.

Neen, thanks! I am not very feed literate, I'm sorry.

Patches, I love the waterfalls here. And they're everywhere too. I should put up some winter pictures this year. Especially Montmorency - it ices up and it's just gorgeous.

I picked it up this afternoon. Cameron, my four year old, saw the wolf and on the cover and asked me to read it to him. "Umm, maybe when you're older kiddo".

Maggie said...

Gordo, yeah, I've heard there's some stuff in it he might want to skip for awhile. But I can totally see the draw towards the cover.
